We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Accountant to join our vibrant team and oversee the financial health of our operations, with a specific focus on the travel sector.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor expenses, revenues, and overall cash flow to ensure fiscal stability.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws and regulatory requirements through timely filings.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including staff salaries and benefit administration.
- Liaise with external auditors and compile necessary documentation for seamless audits.
- Handle specialized travel industry accounting, including reconciliations for bookings, ticketing, and international transactions.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA is a strong added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven accounting experience, preferably within the travel or hospitality industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and standard international financial practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency in modern accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage.
