About the Role
Zoe's Kitchen and Grill (also known as Zoe's Kitchen & Lounge), a premier trendy and casual dining spot and nightlife destination located in Asaba, Delta State, is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the management team with vital financial insights to drive our hospitality business forward.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, daily sales reports, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare periodic financial statements, balance sheets, and profit-and-loss reports.
- Assist with payroll processing, tax computations, and statutory remittances.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal financial controls and Nigerian tax regulations.
- Monitor inventory tracking systems and coordinate with store managers to control operational costs.
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Proven working experience as an accountant, preferably within the hospitality, restaurant, or retail sector.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Must possess excellent communication skills and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
