About the Role
Mudiame International Limited is a dynamic and reputable organization dedicated to excellence and innovation. We are currently seeking a meticulous and driven Chartered Accountant to strengthen our finance department. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining financial integrity, preparing accurate financial reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations efficiently.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax laws, statutory deductions, and other financial regulations.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of annual company budgets and financial forecasts.
- Coordinate internal and external audit processes, providing necessary documentation and resolving queries.
- Implement and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to management to support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Active ICAN or ACCA professional certification is strictly required.
- 2 to 5 years of cognate professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local tax legislation.
