About the Role
Dipsy Fiberglass Manufacturing Limited is one of Nigeria's leading manufacturers of high-quality fiberglass products, renowned for our extensive selection of durable planters designed for commercial and residential projects. As we continue to expand our market presence, we are looking for a dedicated and results-driven Accountant to join our dynamic team and oversee the financial health of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor day-to-day financial activities, including income, expenses, cash inflows, outflows, and available funds.
- Review and reconcile financial and sales records, identifying and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Manage accounts receivable and proactively follow up on outstanding client payments to ensure healthy debt recovery.
- Monitor cash flow and initiate funding requirements for business operations subject to management approval.
- Handle statutory financial obligations, including PAYE, other applicable taxes, levies, and timely remittances.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and updates for management regarding income, expenditures, and liabilities.
- Maintain secure, organized financial documentation and execute other general accounting duties as assigned.
- HND or Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Proven professional experience working in an accounting or financial role.
- Solid understanding of core accounting principles, financial records, reconciliations, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in using modern accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple business accounts effectively.
