About the Role
Tempkers Limited is a global freelance marketplace and tech-outsourcing community connecting organizations with skilled independent professionals. We are currently seeking a reliable, analytical, and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our company's financial records, accounting operations, reporting, and compliance requirements. In this role, you will maintain accurate financial data, handle accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and support our real estate project accounting activities in Abuja.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate financial statements, management accounts, and periodic financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring invoices and customer payments are accurately tracked and processed.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow positions, and resolve banking discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive accounting records for property-related transactions, escrow accounts, taxes, and real estate project costs.
- Support annual budgeting, monitor actual financial performance against approved budgets, and conduct variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal financial controls.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to prepare necessary financial documentation and schedules.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Practical understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAGE, alongside advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Prior knowledge of real estate or property accounting practices is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical abilities, excellent attention to detail, and a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Must reside in Abuja, FCT (Female candidates are preferred, ages 23 to 30 years).
