This position offers the opportunity to manage comprehensive accounting functions—from meticulous financial record-keeping to strategic financial analysis—while contributing directly to informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare comprehensive financial reports
- Process payroll and manage statutory remittances in compliance with Nigerian regulations
- Ensure VAT, WHT, PAYE and other tax compliance requirements are met
- Manage receivables, process payments, and conduct detailed reconciliations
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and conduct financial analysis
- Provide actionable financial insights to support strategic business decisions
- B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience
- Strong command of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial modelling)
- Demonstrated experience with Zoho Books or similar accounting software
- Comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian tax legislation, payroll regulations, and statutory compliance requirements
