We are currently looking for a talented and driven FSIP Senior Associate to join our Assurance and Advisory practice. In this role, you will work with a diverse portfolio of financial services clients, leveraging your technical expertise to deliver exceptional quality and impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, supervise, mentor, and evaluate engagement teams on financial audits of financial services companies using International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Lead accounting advisory and other assurance engagements, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory pronouncements and IFRS standards.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the firm and key client management, resolving complex issues and building lasting professional relationships.
- Exercise sound professional judgment in assessing engagement risks, designing audit procedures, and performing 1st level reviews of consolidated financial statements.
- Collaborate with partners and engagement managers on project management, including resource scheduling, budgeting, and business development initiatives.
- Possession of an ACA, ACCA qualification, or equivalent professional certification.
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in external audit within a reputable consulting or audit firm, specifically focusing on the financial services sector.
- Deep technical knowledge and practical application of IFRS and relevant regulatory frameworks governing financial institutions in Nigeria.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in coaching junior team members, delegating tasks, and managing multiple commitments under tight deadlines.
