About the Role
Reftop Homes Limited is a fast-growing real estate development company based in Lagos, Nigeria, committed to providing secure, affordable, and high-value property solutions. We are currently looking for a talented and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our financial reporting, daily accounting operations, and statutory compliance, helping us drive transgenerational wealth for our clients through transparent real estate investments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve any financial discrepancies promptly.
- Handle tax computations and ensure full compliance with statutory regulations and filings in Nigeria.
- Assist with budget preparation, expense tracking, and internal financial audits.
- Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions and securely archive records.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within the real estate or property development sector.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, statutory compliance, and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
