About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of human resource, technical inspection, and consultancy services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently looking for a talented and analytical Economist to join our dynamic team in delivering robust economic evaluations, financial analyses, and strategic insights for exploration and production projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive economic evaluations and financial analyses for E&P projects, exploration and appraisal activities, and new business opportunities.
- Participate actively in annual planning exercises, including the Long Term Plan, budget formulation, PRIME reserves calculation, and ASC932 Cash Flow reporting.
- Develop, maintain, and audit advanced Microsoft Excel economic models ensuring compliance with the latest fiscal regulations.
- Present and explain complex economic study results clearly to management, committees, and key company stakeholders.
- Prepare and update annual Fiscal Summary Sheets and maintain modelling recaps reflecting changes in the economic environment.
- Collaborate with technical and financial teams to enhance the quality, accuracy, and delivery of economic assessments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related analytical discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Extensive experience in economic modelling, advanced Microsoft Excel, and VBA proficiency.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills with a high level of computer literacy.
- Prior experience in the upstream oil and gas sector is preferred.
