About the Role

We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Financial Controller to oversee the financial health and strategic growth of our growing restaurant business. In this vital role, you will ensure rigorous financial accuracy, optimize cost controls, and maintain seamless multi-branch accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day financial operations and accounting functions across all restaurant branches.
- Prepare and manage comprehensive budgets, accurate forecasts, and insightful financial reports.
- Monitor cost of sales, inventory valuation, and overall expense control to maximize profitability.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping, routine reconciliations, and robust record-keeping.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing and statutory remittances including taxes and pensions.
- Conduct deep financial analysis to support strategic executive decision-making.
- Ensure strict compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls.
- Oversee cash flow management and liaise effectively with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide the accounting and finance team.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CPA is strongly preferred.
- 4 to 6 years of proven experience in financial management and accounting, ideally within the hospitality, food service, or multi-branch retail sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in industry-standard accounting software like QuickBooks or Sage, alongside advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
