About the Role
Power Ark Infrastructure Ltd is a leading provider of end-to-end photovoltaic and energy storage solutions across Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. We empower mining operations, businesses, industries, and households with reliable energy access while building sustainable infrastructure ecosystems. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team and manage our core accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities
- Receive, record, and reconcile customer payments across multiple channels (cash, transfers, POS)
- Maintain accurate and complete financial records with supporting documentation
- Administer petty cash management and perform regular bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts for stakeholder review
- Ensure all financial records meet audit-ready standards and compliance requirements
- Establish, document, and enhance accounting processes and internal controls
- Handle statutory and regulatory accounting obligations
- Perform additional accounting and finance duties as assigned
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting (mandatory)
- Minimum 3 years post-NYSC accounting experience (mandatory)
- Strong proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and accounting software experience
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- ICAN certification or active pursuit of professional accounting qualification (advantageous)
