About the Role
Royal Farms Integrated Products Limited is a leading Nigerian agribusiness and food distribution company headquartered in Aba, Abia State. Established in 2014, we specialize in the large-scale supply, cold storage, and logistics of premium agro-allied commodities and food staples. We are currently seeking a dedicated and competent Accountant to join our dynamic finance team and contribute to our continued growth in the Nigerian agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Nigerian tax laws and accounting standards.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure optimal liquidity for business operations.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial variance analysis to support management decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to track inventory, supply chain costs, and logistics expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with statutory deductions such as PAYE, VAT, and Company Income Tax.
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Proven professional experience in an accounting or financial role, preferably within agribusiness, manufacturing, or supply chain sectors.
- Active membership or student membership in relevant professional bodies such as ICAN or ANAN is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of integrity.
