About the Role
Coleman Technical Industries Limited, West Africa's leading manufacturer of electrical wires and cables, is seeking a diligent and analytical Account Officer to join our finance team in Arepo, Ogun State. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting comprehensive financial reporting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
- Process invoices, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, and supplier accounts on a regular basis.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely collections and payments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support budget preparation, cost analysis, and overall financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and statutory regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal departments and support both internal and external audit processes.
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of proven accounting or finance experience, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
- Active professional certification or part-qualification (ICAN, ATS, ACCA).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced Excel.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and accounting software.
- Exceptional numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Must reside within Arepo, Ogun State, or easily commute to the facility.
