About the Role
Design Bricks Homes & Property is a leading Nigerian real estate company specializing in land sales, housing development, property management, and professional real estate advisory services. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Account Officer to join our growing finance team in Ogun State. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of the organization by managing day-to-day accounting transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accurate record-keeping across all our real estate projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting and financial records for land sales and property management.
- Reconcile bank statements, ledger accounts, and resolve any financial discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Process payroll, track operational expenses, and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and tax laws.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial audits and streamline operational accounting processes.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in accounting, finance, or a related role.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Good working knowledge of accounting principles, financial records management, and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and other financial tools.
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and excellent numerical accuracy.
- Must reside in or around Sagamu, Ogun State, as accommodation is not provided by the company.
