About the Role
Aldelia Limited is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Financial Controller to join our team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will lead our financial operations, ensure robust internal controls, and drive strategic financial performance across our regional projects in the oil, gas, and energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the monthly financial close, management reporting, and general ledger integrity in compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements.
- Monitor project costs, work-in-progress (WIP), margins, billing, collections, and financial forecasts.
- Coordinate budgeting, financial planning, variance analysis, and cash-flow management.
- Maintain effective financial controls, coordinate audit requirements, and ensure adherence to Nigerian tax regulations.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team while driving process improvements and system efficiencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline (Master's or MBA is an advantage).
- Mandatory professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA.
- 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in financial management, accounting, or financial control, preferably within oil & gas, energy, or project-based environments.
- Strong proficiency in IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, project finance, and working-capital management.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, audit coordination, and advanced financial systems (ERP).
