About the Role
New Heights Pharmaceuticals Limited is a wholly indigenous healthcare company registered in 2004 and operational since February 2005. We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and resilient Account Officer to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining robust financial records, ensuring strict adherence to best practice financial policies, and driving effective debt recovery across our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Verify and reconcile all customer payments and transactions related to their account statements.
- Manage debt recovery processes by ensuring timely payments on accounts through proactive and professional follow-ups.
- Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate financial entries and generate insightful reports.
- Apply corporate finance methodologies, risk management, forecasting, and control practices.
- Travel frequently as required to support business operations and financial engagements.
- BSc or HND qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- 1 to 3 years of proven professional experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Possession of a relevant professional certification is considered a strong added advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Peachtree, and SAP.
- Strong understanding of accounting systems, practices, and best practice financial policies.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
