Key Responsibilities- Manage an end-to-end portfolio of SMB partners, focusing on orders, Gross Merchandise Value (GMV), Average Order Value (AOV), and overall profitability.
- Drive commercial growth by negotiating commissions and terms, securing promotional campaigns, and upselling visibility products.
- Maintain a high-tempo engagement rhythm, conducting regular partner calls and field visits for face-to-face meetings.
- Utilize data analytics tools like Google Sheets, Looker, and Salesforce to run weekly portfolio reviews and provide actionable business insights to partners.
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to resolve delivery issues, reduce cancellations, and improve order availability and preparation times.
- Act as the primary voice of the partner internally, sharing market insights to help shape new company products and marketing campaigns.
- Protect the portfolio by identifying at-risk accounts early, resolving escalations end-to-end, and proactively minimizing partner churn.
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience in account management, sales, business development, or vendor management within e-commerce, fintech, marketplaces, or FMCG.
- Demonstrated track record of hitting commercial targets, overcoming objections, and successfully closing negotiations.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM dashboards to drive data-backed decision-making.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously with high discipline.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, with local language proficiency (Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, or Pidgin) being a strong advantage.
- Must be based in Lagos or Abuja, possessing high resilience and a willingness to conduct regular field visits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
