About the Role
HRLeverage Africa is recruiting an experienced Account Manager to drive financial integrity, cash reconciliation, and inventory management across multiple business locations. In this vital role, you will ensure rigorous financial controls, supervise accounting staff, and provide accurate reporting directly to leadership while maintaining zero-tolerance standards for discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily cash reconciliation to ensure sales perfectly match cash collected across all locations.
- Oversee accounting software to guarantee all financial transactions are captured in real time.
- Conduct daily and weekly physical stock counts, reconciling them meticulously against system records.
- Investigate and report stock variances, missing items, or unexplained cash shortfalls immediately.
- Supervise the Account Clerk and enforce strict handover procedures between shift changes.
- Manage procurement workflows, including verifying stock needs, raising purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.
- Prepare daily sales and cash reports for the CEO, alongside weekly Profit and Loss summaries.
- Enforce strict segregation of duties between sales staff and the accounting team.
- Coordinate seamlessly with external auditors for monthly compliance and review cycles.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in retail accounting, financial controls, or inventory management.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical retail, healthcare, or FMCG sectors is a distinct advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with modern accounting or POS software.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Yoruba to facilitate smooth local operations.
- Demonstrated high integrity with the confidence to flag fraud or discrepancies proactively.
- Competitive gross monthly base salary ranging from N180,000 to N250,000.
