About the Role
G126 Continental Travels is one of Africa’s emerging full-service online travel management companies, providing customers with a comprehensive booking portal for affordable flights, hotels, visa assistance, holiday packages, and more. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Account Manager to manage the financial health of our organization and support our continued business growth in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor expenditure, and provide detailed variance analysis.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, statutory filings, and other financial obligations.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk while liaising with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support executive decision-making and business strategy.
- Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls, processes, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide finance team members to ensure efficient departmental operations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Mandatory Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within the travel, hospitality, or service sector.
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations, Nigerian tax laws, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting software, advanced Microsoft Excel, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
