About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account and Operation Intern to join our growing team. This role provides an exceptional opportunity for recent graduates and NYSC members to gain hands-on experience in corporate finance, administration, and operational management within a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing payables and receivables, and conducting bank reconciliations.
  • Support budget and cost-monitoring initiatives by tracking expenses against approved company budgets.
  • Help prepare statutory documentation for VAT, PAYE, WHT, and Pension under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Assist with payroll administration, petty cash management, and treasury documentation.
  • Coordinate daily operational activities, vendor communications, procurement processes, and inventory tracking.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of company assets, consumables, and ensure adherence to workplace safety standards.
  • Support Human Resources with employee record management, attendance tracking, and new staff onboarding.
  • Prepare routine weekly and monthly reports on assigned finance and operational tasks.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree, OND, or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 0 to 1 year of work or internship experience, with recent graduates and current NYSC members strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Foundational understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with basic accounting software.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative team player mindset.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and a proactive willingness to learn on the job.
