About the Role
Solynta Academy, Nigeria’s premier AI-powered personalised online learning platform, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Academy Teacher to oversee our physical learning centre on Lagos Island. In this innovative role, you will bridge traditional teaching excellence with cutting-edge educational technology, ensuring students thrive in a safe, structured, and engaging environment while mastering the Nigerian Curriculum through our smart AI tutor.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day centre operations, ensuring schedules, classes, and activities run smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and disciplined learning environment while monitoring facilities, power, internet, and equipment.
- Supervise student attendance, behavior, and wellbeing, providing active support and identifying learners who need extra assistance.
- Serve as the primary liaison for parents, delivering regular progress updates and building strong community relationships.
- Lead prospective parent tours, support onboarding and enrolment, and represent Solynta Academy positively.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven teaching experience in a recognized educational setting.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
- Tech-savvy with high comfort levels using computers, digital learning platforms, and emerging AI tools.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students and parents.
- Must currently reside on Lagos Island, Lagos State.
- Prior experience managing teachers or educational teams is an added advantage.
