About the Role
G.J Halcyon Company Limited has been operating in Nigeria since 2018, specializing in PET plastic recycling, scrap collection, and comprehensive waste management services. As part of our commitment to maintaining efficient facility operations, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled AC Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all cooling systems across our facilities function at peak performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs our AC Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining our climate control and industrial cooling systems. Your daily duties will include:
- Installing, servicing, and repairing various air conditioning units.
- Working extensively with split units and complex industrial air-conditioning systems.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults effectively and safely.
- Conducting routine preventive maintenance checks to minimize equipment downtime.
- Documenting all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
To be considered for this position at G.J Halcyon Company Limited, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience in AC installation, servicing, and repairs.
- Deep understanding and hands-on knowledge of split and industrial air-conditioning systems.
- Strong analytical ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical faults.
- Solid foundation in both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a diverse team.
