About the Role
Ignite Energy Access is an Abu Dhabi-based leader in distributed renewable energy solutions, dedicated to providing affordable, reliable, and sustainable electricity to underserved communities across Africa. Now operating across 12 countries and serving over 15 million people, we are transforming lives and driving the continent's clean energy transition. We are currently looking for a motivated and disciplined Zonal Team Lead to join our Customer Finance Department in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve quantitative and qualitative targets set by the customer finance department regarding bounce backs, reactivations, and repossessions while keeping write-off values within acceptable thresholds.
- Recruit, train, and manage high-performing collection agents and field teams to drive regional credit portfolio maintenance and debt recovery processes.
- Facilitate the implementation of credit management tools, conduct credit compliance checks, and perform credit assessments for high-end renewable energy kits.
- Manage regional payment integrations and collaborate with stakeholders to improve seamless payment channels for customers.
- Lead monthly and weekly performance reviews, recovery committees, and regional credit campaigns to ensure all credit metrics remain optimal.
- Possession of an HND or BSc Degree in a relevant field.
- 2 to 4 years of working experience in the renewable energy sector or a related field is a strong advantage.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience as a Loan Recovery Manager or in a similar credit management role.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership, with the ability to manage dispersed teams operating in rural communities.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Hausa is required.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analytics tools such as Tableau, SQL, and Microsoft Excel.
