About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy company, providing millions of homes with reliable power across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a diligent, well-organized, and analytical Zonal Credit Manager to join our Risk department in Nigeria. In this key role, you will spearhead field-level collections for our PAYG solar products, champion risk mitigation strategies, and ensure our credit processes deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Drive field collections and manage PAYG product credit cycles across the Western zone.
- Collaborate with the Credit Manager to develop and refine operational credit methodologies and policies.
- Conduct periodic spot-check audits, identify operational risks, and implement corrective recommendations.
- Lead fraud investigations through rigorous data collection, interviews, and detailed reporting.
- Identify, classify, and report potential default risks and red flags promptly.
- Prepare comprehensive field reports, data analyses, and management presentations.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in risk management, control, or compliance.
- Prior working experience within a microfinance institution (MFI) or commercial bank.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong data collection and analytical skills.
- Proven expertise in fraud detection, investigation, and operational risk mitigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Yoruba is required.
