Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Yoruba language and literature lessons in alignment with the Nigerian educational curriculum.
  • Prepare Junior Secondary School students thoroughly and effectively for their Junior WAEC examinations.
  • Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to learners and parents.
  • Create a vibrant, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that fosters cultural pride and academic excellence.
  • Participate in school-wide extracurricular activities, meetings, and professional development programs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Yoruba Education, Linguistics, or a related field (NCE or Master's degree is an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven teaching experience at the secondary school level, specifically preparing students for Junior WAEC.
  • Deep knowledge of the Yoruba language, grammar, cultural heritage, and modern pedagogical techniques.
