Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a dynamic classroom environment to ensure optimal student engagement and discipline.
- Identify, adopt, and implement the most effective teaching approaches suited to diverse student learning styles.
- Monitor ongoing teaching and learning activities to consistently meet individual student needs.
- Plan and deliver well-structured, effective sequences of lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Develop students' abilities to work independently and communicate effectively in Yoruba.
- Teach essential skills that foster students' social independence and confidence.
- Contribute to school improvement plans and lead specific subject initiatives to ensure continuous academic progress.
- Assess, record, and report comprehensive student progress to stakeholders.
- Possess a minimum of a B.Ed, B.Sc(Ed), B.A(Ed), or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
- Mandatory completion or exemption certificate from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification will be an added advantage.
- Must possess at least one year of proven teaching experience.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), with strong proficiency in teaching the Yoruba language and culture.
- Must be tech-savvy and conversant with 21st-century ICT tools and Microsoft Office applications.
