About the Role
Estymol Oil Services is recruiting a skilled Well Site Geologist to join our dynamic operations in the Nigerian oil and gas sector. In this critical role, you will provide real-time geological evaluation directly on the rig floor to ensure optimal casing point selection, precise reservoir navigation, and successful drilling outcomes. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellence and maintain high performance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed cuttings analysis and accurate hydrocarbon evaluation during drilling operations.
- Interpret wireline and MWD logs in real time to assess subsurface formations.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the office geosciences team to communicate critical wellsite data.
- Ensure optimal casing point selection and safe, efficient reservoir navigation.
- Monitor mud logging operations and maintain comprehensive geological reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related petroleum discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience as a Well Site Geologist.
- Extensive hands-on experience with mud logging operations and wellsite data interpretation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and real-time decision-making skills.
