About the Role

We are currently looking for a dynamic Well Intervention / Gas Lift Engineer to join our expert team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving operational excellence by delivering robust technical support for various intervention activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and optimal production performance across our asset portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Design comprehensive gas lift systems, determine valve spacing, and recommend system optimizations including valve and dummy setting and pulling.
- Develop detailed job procedures and precise equipment technical specifications tailored to operational requirements.
- Verify equipment suitability against expected well conditions, accounting for pressure, temperature, H2S/CO2 presence, and completion type.
- Perform wellhead and Xmas tree calculations to support scheduled and corrective maintenance work.
- Lead rigorous rig and platform surveys to confirm equipment layouts and utility needs prior to project execution.
- Plan operations meticulously and review end-of-well reports to maintain high standards of technical accuracy.
- Specify appropriate well-kill materials and well-control systems for smooth slickline operations.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Petroleum Engineering or Chemical Engineering; COREN registration is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in well intervention or production engineering, with a strong focus on gas lift operations.
- Valid certifications including IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control (Level 3 or 4) and standard offshore survival certifications.
- Proficiency in industry-standard gas lift design software such as PROSPER and WellFlo.
- Solid working knowledge of nodal analysis and completion design principles.
