About the Role
Petro-Tracking Services Limited is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified company in Nigeria specializing in nondestructive testing, material testing, third-party inspection, consulting, and training in NDT and welding inspection technologies. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Welder to join our growing team of engineering professionals. In this role, you will contribute to high-precision fabrication projects across the oil and gas exploration, petroleum refining, and manufacturing industries, ensuring adherence to the highest international quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform precision welding on structural components, pipelines, and industrial equipment according to engineering blueprints and specifications.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure structural integrity and compliance with rigorous industry codes and safety standards.
- Prepare metal surfaces by cutting, grinding, and cleaning prior to the welding process.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in optimal working condition, reporting any faults or safety hazards immediately.
- Collaborate with NDT inspectors, engineers, and project teams to achieve project milestones safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on all job sites and within the laboratory environment.
- Minimum of an SSCE or OND qualification from a recognized institution.
- Proven professional experience as a Welder, preferably within the oil and gas, manufacturing, or heavy fabrication sector.
- Demonstrated knowledge of various welding techniques and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
