About the Role
1860 Travels Limited, a trusted travel company registered under the laws of Nigeria and a proud member of NANTA, is looking for a creative and results-driven Web Officer & Digital Marketer. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for day-to-day website management, search engine optimization, digital marketing campaigns, and engaging social media content creation to boost our brand visibility and revenue in the Nigerian travel industry.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the company website, updating service pages, destinations, travel deals, and landing pages for optimal user experience and mobile responsiveness.
- Implement on-page and technical SEO strategies, conduct keyword research, and monitor performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Plan and execute high-converting digital marketing campaigns across email, WhatsApp, and social media platforms to promote flights, hotels, and holiday packages.
- Create engaging travel-related content, short-form videos, and destination guides while maintaining a consistent brand voice across all social media channels.
- Track digital marketing KPIs, analyze user behavior, and prepare weekly reports to identify opportunities for increasing online enquiries and bookings.
- Collaborate with developers, sales, and tours teams to resolve technical website issues and convert digital leads into loyal customers.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, website management, SEO, or content creation.
- Strong proficiency in WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Meta Business Suite.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva, AI marketing tools, and basic HTML/CSS.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail and a passion for the travel industry.
