About the Role
Virtual Nation operates behind the scenes to support a dynamic portfolio of global brands spanning migration, education, and digital growth across the UK, US, Europe, and Africa. We are currently looking for a talented Web Developer to build, maintain, and improve our websites, front-end interfaces, and back-end systems. In this role, you will own the technical experience of our platform, ensuring it is visually compelling, highly responsive, and exceptionally reliable.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and improve our website and web applications across the full stack.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and exceptional SEO performance.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services seamlessly into existing architectures.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues as they arise in production environments.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and cross-functional team members to ship high-quality features.
- Proven professional experience as a Full-Stack Web Developer or similar technical role.
- Strong proficiency in modern front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Solid experience with back-end languages and frameworks.
- Demonstrated expertise in web performance optimization and technical SEO standards.
- Experience with API integration, database management, and version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for design and user experience details.
