About the Role
Al-Hikmah University, a premier private institution in Ilorin, Nigeria, is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Web Design Instructor to join our academic community. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and practical hands-on training in web design, UI/UX principles, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript fundamentals.
- Develop and update comprehensive course outlines, lesson plans, and instructional materials that meet current industry standards.
- Mentor students on individual and collaborative web development projects, fostering critical thinking and creativity.
- Assess student performance through continuous evaluations, practical examinations, and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with departmental colleagues to integrate modern digital tools into the broader academic curriculum.
- Possession of a relevant Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience in web design, front-end development, or digital media instruction.
- Strong proficiency in modern web design tools, content management systems (such as WordPress), and responsive design frameworks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and pedagogical skills with a passion for youth mentorship.
