About the Role
High Performance Consulting is seeking a dedicated Warehouse / Store Officer to join our client in the dynamic transport and logistics sector. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective management and control of company stores, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of spare parts, tools, equipment, and consumables. You will support seamless workshop and fleet operations by maintaining precise inventory records, monitoring stock levels, preventing discrepancies, and guaranteeing that vital operational materials are always available when required.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, document, and securely store spare parts, tools, materials, and operational consumables.
- Maintain highly accurate inventory records and proactively monitor stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Issue and record all stock movements, including receipts, internal transfers, returns, and daily usage.
- Conduct routine physical stock counts, reconcile inventory data, and report any discrepancies or losses immediately.
- Coordinate closely with Workshop, Fleet, Operations, and Procurement teams regarding material and spare part requirements.
- Monitor critical, slow-moving, damaged, and obsolete stock while preparing comprehensive inventory reports.
- Maintain a clean, secure, and well-organised store environment that complies with company safety and operational procedures.
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven relevant experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
- Demonstrated experience within the transport, logistics, fleet management, automotive, or workshop environment is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with managing automotive spare parts, components, specialized tools, and industrial consumables.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent record-keeping abilities, and proficiency in identifying and reconciling stock discrepancies.
