About the Role
Colourbox Early Learning Hub is a nurturing early childhood care center located in Opebi, Lagos, dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for young children. As a newly launching facility, we focus on quality care, structured early learning, and the holistic development of every child. We are currently seeking a passionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Caregiver/Childminder to join our dynamic team in Ikeja, Lagos.
Key Responsibilities- Provide warm, attentive, and responsive care for babies and young children daily.
- Support children's learning, cognitive growth, and emotional wellbeing through engaging, age-appropriate activities and play.
- Assist with feeding, nappy changing, toileting, personal hygiene, and scheduled sleep routines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised environment that meets strict health and hygiene standards.
- Follow all safeguarding, child protection, and health and safety procedures meticulously.
- Ensure every child receives individual attention and feels safe, happy, and included in all group activities.
- Previous professional or personal experience caring for babies and young children in a structured setting.
- A genuine love for children, accompanied by exceptional patience, warmth, and a nurturing attitude.
- High level of reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with parents and colleagues.
- Working knowledge of child development, safeguarding practices, and basic first aid will be a strong advantage.
- A relevant childcare certification is desirable, though practical experience and the right attitude are equally important to us.
