About the Role
Ajoke Group Limited, a leading distribution and supply chain powerhouse in Nigeria's fast-moving consumer goods sector, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Personnel to join our growing operations team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the seamless flow of goods from delivery to dispatch, ensuring our inventory is accurately accounted for, properly stored, and efficiently distributed to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against relevant delivery documents to ensure absolute accuracy.
- Organize and store products systematically to facilitate swift identification, retrieval, and dispatch.
- Fulfill approved sales orders and stock requests accurately, ensuring correct items and quantities are released.
- Maintain meticulous digital and physical records of all goods received, issued, returned, and held in stock.
- Monitor inventory levels continuously, promptly reporting shortages, damaged items, or expired products.
- Implement strict FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) stock rotation principles.
- Participate actively in periodic stocktaking exercises and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Handle all products with utmost care to minimize loss, wastage, and operational damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant warehouse environment at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with the Sales, Accounts, and Distribution teams to drive smooth daily operations.
- Minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in a relevant field.
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Assistant, Inventory Clerk, or similar role within the FMCG or logistics sector.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management procedures, inventory control, and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with FIFO and FEFO inventory management techniques.
- Good numerical skills and attention to detail with record-keeping accuracy.
- Physical fitness with the ability to assist in loading, offloading, and handling goods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
