About the Role
Ajoke Group Limited is a major distribution company and a foremost key player in the supply chain of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) across Nigeria. We are currently looking for a diligent and proactive Warehouse Officer to oversee daily inventory operations, ensure optimal stock management, and maintain a secure and organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming products against delivery documents for accuracy in quantities, batch numbers, and expiry dates.
- Implement FIFO and FEFO principles for proper stock arrangement, issuance, and rotation to minimize waste.
- Maintain accurate physical and digital records of all stock received, transferred, issued, and returned.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records promptly.
- Monitor warehouse space utilization and ensure easy identification and access to all stored goods.
- Identify and report damaged, expired, or leaking FMCG products immediately to management.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the Sales and Accounts departments regarding stock availability and movements.
- Ensure strict adherence to company safety regulations, warehouse procedures, and restricted access policies.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a Warehouse Officer, Inventory Controller, or similar role within the FMCG or distribution sector.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management procedures and FIFO/FEFO inventory techniques.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer literacy.
