About the Role
Sunbeth Global Concepts (SGC) is a leading Nigerian trading firm specializing in the export of premium quality raw cocoa beans and cashew. Our expertise in sourcing, quality control, and logistics makes us a trusted partner globally. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Warehouse Officer to join our dynamic operations team in Kano. In this role, you will play a critical part in executing daily warehouse records, monitoring commodity-handling activities, and supporting safe inventory management.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and verify cargo documentation, such as waybills and weighbridge tickets, against physical deliveries.
- Record receipts, dispatches, and internal transfers accurately in warehouse registers and digital systems.
- Monitor stacking arrangements and storage conditions to prevent damage, ensure proper ventilation, and identify pest signs.
- Supervise loading and offloading processes to guarantee safety and minimize product wastage.
- Maintain updated stack cards and lot identification labels for complete inventory traceability.
- Support periodic physical stock counts, reconciliations, and the investigation of inventory variances.
- Identify and promptly report all stock shortages, damages, or operational irregularities to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- HND or B.Sc. in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven experience in warehouse or store operations, ideally within the agro-commodity or food processing sector.
- Familiarity with manual and basic digital stock record-keeping methods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and supervise labor gangs.
