About the Role
Standard Chartered Bank is looking for a dynamic and analytical professional to join our team as an Analyst, Segment Portfolio Management. In this permanent, office-based role in Nigeria, you will proactively manage, grow, and retain a high-potential portfolio of Premium executives by delivering tailored, multi-currency wealth solutions and data-driven engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Produce regular and ad hoc portfolio insights, translating client and sales data into actionable strategies for Premium Banking management and frontline teams.
- Monitor overall portfolio health, deposits, Assets Under Management (AUM), profitability, and client qualification to identify acquisition and retention opportunities.
- Design and coordinate data-led campaigns to acquire quality clients, mobilise deposits, increase wealth penetration, and generate qualified upgrades into Priority Banking.
- Generate prioritised, actionable leads for Premium Executives using segmentation, behavioural insights, and agreed propensity models.
- Ensure strict adherence to the bank’s operational risk framework, data privacy policies, and regulatory compliance standards, including anti-money laundering guidelines.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Banking, Accounting, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- 5-8 years of professional experience in Banking, Wealth Management, Portfolio Management, Business Analytics, or Customer Segmentation.
- Proven expertise in portfolio optimisation, client acquisition, campaign management, and business performance reporting.
- AI-literate with a solid understanding of machine learning and advanced language models to enhance operational productivity.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, alongside exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
