About the Role
Iknorbert Communications Limited, a leading distributor of ITEL mobile phones and accessories across Africa, is seeking a results-driven Warehouse & Logistics Manager for our Onitsha branch in Anambra State. In this critical role, you will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient warehousing, optimal inventory control, and seamless logistics coordination to support our expanding retail and distribution network.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement warehouse operational policies, safety procedures, and efficient layout designs to maximize productivity and space utilization.
- Supervise warehouse personnel, including supervisors, forklift operators, and loaders, providing leadership and performance guidance.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, ABC analysis, FIFO/LIFO methods, and stringent stock control measures.
- Coordinate inbound and outgoing deliveries, transport routing, scheduling, and cost negotiations with transporters.
- Monitor real-time shipment tracking, manage order fulfillment, and swiftly resolve any operational issues or customer complaints.
- Ensure strict compliance with workplace health, safety, and security standards across all logistics and warehousing facilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications are a strong advantage.
- Proven professional experience managing large-scale warehouse operations, distribution branches, and transportation logistics.
- Deep understanding of inventory management principles, supply chain best practices, and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Mandatory residency in Onitsha, Anambra State, or readiness to relocate immediately.
