Akiavic Blue Roof Hotel, a premier family-run boutique hotel located at 237 Brigadier Ademulegun Road in Ondo City, Ondo State, is seeking a professional and enthusiastic Waitstaff to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our dining and hospitality services, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable culinary experience with warm, prompt, and courteous service.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and seat hotel guests warmly while presenting menus with detailed knowledge of food and beverage options.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve orders promptly and efficiently, ensuring high standards of presentation and hygiene at all times.
- Handle guest inquiries, special dietary requests, and feedback with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Clear tables, reset dining areas, and maintain a clean and welcoming restaurant environment.
- Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen and front desk personnel to ensure smooth daily hospitality operations.
- Possess relevant academic qualifications and a proven passion for the hospitality and service industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Certification or proven ability in lifeguard duties or swimming is a strong added advantage.
