Singapore View Hotel and Suites, a premier hospitality destination located in Uruagu, Nnewi, Anambra State, is seeking a professional, customer-focused Waitress to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the face of our dining establishment, ensuring that every guest receives prompt, courteous, and high-quality service that exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities- Greet and seat guests warmly upon arrival, presenting menus and providing detailed information about daily specials and food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve orders promptly and efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special dietary requests with patience, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
- Process payments accurately using the hotel point-of-sale system and manage billing transactions with integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, service stations, and equipment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen, bar, and front desk personnel to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Interested candidates must possess a minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) qualification from a recognized institution.
- Proven previous experience working as a waitress, server, or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role is an added advantage.
- Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Outstanding customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask, remain calm, and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
- Must be resident in or willing to relocate to Nnewi, Anambra State.
