About the Role
Avonix Place is a premier restaurant and luxury lounge located in the upscale Victoria Garden City (VGC) and Ajah area of Lekki, Lagos. As a destination for both fine and casual dining, we pride ourselves on serving a diverse menu of exquisite intercontinental and African dishes paired with top-tier customer service. We are currently seeking polished, energetic, and customer-focused Waiters to join our dynamic hospitality team and deliver memorable culinary experiences to our esteemed guests.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, presenting menus and providing detailed recommendations on food and beverage selections.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relaying them promptly and correctly to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve orders efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, etiquette, and attentiveness throughout the dining experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, special dietary requests, and complaints with professionalism, patience, and a problem-solving mindset.
- Process payments securely and accurately using the restaurant's point-of-sale systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and station setups in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- B.Sc, HND, or OND in any related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Strong interpersonal relations and excellent communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively handle fast-paced service environments.
- Impeccable personal grooming, presentation, and time-management abilities.
- Previous hospitality or restaurant service experience in a luxury dining setting is an added advantage.
