In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, ensuring that every guest receives prompt, courteous, and high-quality service in our bar and lounge areas. Key Responsibilities- Welcome and acknowledge all guests promptly and warmly in accordance with company standards.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and input them seamlessly into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to established recipe, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the food, wine, beer, bar, and lounge menus, including current promotions.
- Process payments accurately, handle cash transactions, and operate credit and debit card machines effectively.
- Clear and reset tables, polish cutlery and glassware, and maintain immaculate station cleanliness at all times.
- Stock and replenish bar supplies, inventory, and operating equipment to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Establish positive guest rapport, take ownership of requests, resolve complaints promptly, and collect valuable feedback.
- Candidates must possess a minimum of an OND qualification.
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience as a Waiter, Waitress, or Bartender within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Exceptional communication skills with a clear and professional speaking voice.
- Strong knowledge of wine selection, wine service, and beer service procedures.
- Basic cashiering skills with proficiency in operating POS systems.
- Ability to multitask, up-sell promotions, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
