About the Role
Singapore View Hotel and Suites, a premier hospitality destination located in Uruagu, Nnewi, Anambra State, is currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Waiter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our dining establishment, ensuring that every guest receives prompt, courteous, and world-class service from the moment they arrive until their departure. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, inviting atmosphere and are looking for someone who shares our passion for excellence in hospitality.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and seat guests warmly while presenting menus with detailed knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve orders promptly and efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene throughout the dining service.
- Check in regularly with guests to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and anticipate additional needs.
- Process payments accurately using the hotel's billing system and handle cash or card transactions responsibly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and station setups before, during, and after shifts.
- Possession of an OND or HND in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Previous working experience as a waiter, server, or in a similar hospitality role is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and professional under pressure.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to Nnewi, Anambra State.
