About the Role
Carifika Network for Sustainable Development (CNSD) Nigeria, a subsidiary of Carifika Global in Canada, is dedicated to building harmonious and prosperous societies through health, education, peacebuilding, and sustainable development initiatives. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Volunteer ICT & Software Management Officer to maintain our digital infrastructure and support our community-focused missions in Abuja and surrounding regions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain organizational software, databases, and digital platforms to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for staff and fellow volunteers regarding hardware and software issues.
- Assist in developing and deploying web-based tools and digital resources for community development projects.
- Collaborate with the communications team to update and secure the organization's online presence.
- Ensure data security, regular backups, and proper documentation of all IT assets and software licenses.
- Degree, diploma, or ongoing studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in software management, network administration, or IT support.
- Familiarity with web technologies, database management, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for technical detail.
- Residents in Nyanya, Karu, Orozo, and surrounding areas in Abuja are strongly encouraged to apply.
