About the Role
Human Affection International Charity Foundation is where compassion meets action, dedicated to uplifting the lives of vulnerable children and the needy by providing essential support and creating opportunities for a better future. We are currently seeking a passionate and driven Volunteer in Fundraising and Donor Engagement to help us expand our reach, secure vital financial resources, and build lasting relationships with our supporters in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in developing and executing creative fundraising campaigns and donor acquisition strategies.
- Identify, research, and cultivate relationships with potential individual donors, corporate partners, and grant-making foundations.
- Draft compelling grant proposals, appeal letters, and engaging content for donor communications and newsletters.
- Organize and coordinate charity events, community outreach programs, and fundraising drives in Lagos or Abuja.
- Maintain and update the donor database to track contributions, track engagement metrics, and ensure timely appreciation notes are sent.
- Deeply passionate about community development, social impact, and humanitarian causes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to articulate our mission persuasively.
- Proactive, responsible, and eager to learn new skills in the non-profit sector.
- Must be available to participate in activities and meetings in Lagos or Abuja.
- Open to students, recent graduates, young professionals, and experienced individuals looking to give back.
- Gain hands-on experience in non-profit management, fundraising, and donor relations.
