About the Role
Royal Resource Management (RRM) is currently seeking a compassionate, patient, and skilled Vocational Therapist to support children and young people with special educational needs. Key Responsibilities- Assess individual learner abilities, interests, and developmental needs to create customized growth plans.
- Design and implement engaging vocational and practical activities tailored to special educational needs.
- Foster social skills and emotional confidence in children and young people through interactive sessions.
- Guide learners in mastering independent-living skills for daily life and future independence.
- Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and families to monitor and support learner progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports on each learner's development milestones.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, Special Education, Vocational Rehabilitation, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with children and young people who have special educational needs.
- Strong interpersonal, patience, and empathetic communication skills tailored to diverse learners.
- Ability to design creative and practical learning curricula that inspire confidence and participation.
- Valid professional certifications and compliance with relevant Nigerian health and education standards.
