Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality chemistry lessons aligned with the Nigerian National Policy on Education and AJC standards.
- Cover the complete school scheme of work efficiently while integrating real-life applications of chemistry.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Act as a positive role model and mentor to students, aligning with the Jesuit philosophy of formation.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments to promote whole-school development.
- Utilize modern digital tools, including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, to enhance instructional delivery.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Degree in Chemistry or a related equivalent qualification.
- Valid Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification is mandatory.
- Possession of a higher degree or advanced qualification in Chemistry will be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable secondary school setting.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of adolescent psychology and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
