About the Role
Kaplo Africa is Africa's most innovative Human Resource and Business Support Solutions provider, delivering cutting-edge advisory and human capital solutions across diverse sectors. We are currently looking for a talented and driven Videographer / Video Editor to join our media production team in Abule Egba, Lagos. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our visual brand identity, producing compelling video content, and optimizing our digital channels for maximum engagement and reach.
Key Responsibilities- Operate professional cameras, lighting, and sound recording equipment to capture high-quality video and audio content.
- Edit and produce engaging videos for various digital platforms using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
- Manage live streaming video and audio sessions in real-time with flawless execution.
- Apply strong storytelling techniques and visual creativity to enhance brand messaging and viewer retention.
- Optimize video content for YouTube algorithms, search engines, and social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Design supporting graphic materials and digital assets utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDraw, and Canva.
- Conduct research and create well-written accompanying copy, maintaining superior standards in oral and written English.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Film/Media Studies, Fine Arts, or a related field, OR a diploma/certificate in videography, cinematography, or digital media.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of professional experience in videography, video editing, or media production.
- Applicants must possess and provide their own professional camera equipment.
- Must submit at least two previous video editing samples as references of past work.
- Proficiency in video editing suites, graphic design tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and time-management skills with strict attention to detail.
