About the Role
Tonic Technologies Limited is a leading FinTech startup founded in 2019, dedicated to providing seamless payment solutions and financial services to businesses and everyday citizens across Nigeria. We are currently looking for a creative and dynamic Videographer to help capture the heartbeat of our brand through compelling visual storytelling. While this is primarily a remote position, candidates must reside in or near Lagos to attend on-site shoots and events as required.
Key Responsibilities- Shoot high-engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube, including product videos, skits, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage.
- Cover company events and community initiatives such as Upskill, Cardtonic Cares, and Tonic FC to ensure all key moments are properly documented.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and design teams on shoot planning, including shot lists, locations, props, and talent coordination.
- Manage professional lighting, framing, and audio equipment to guarantee clean production value across diverse environments.
- Execute rapid edits for fast-turnaround digital assets and organize raw footage efficiently for the wider video editing team.
- Maintain and prepare camera gear, gimbals, lighting kits, and microphones to ensure readiness for all scheduled productions.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional videography experience with a robust, verifiable portfolio demonstrating range in social media and corporate storytelling.
- Proficiency with mirrorless or cinema cameras, professional audio gear, and editing suites such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
- Demonstrated ability to direct on-camera talent, keeping subjects relaxed and natural during production.
- Strong understanding of contemporary social media trends, vertical framing, and high-retention video pacing.
- Reliable organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced remote work environment.
